My journey into wedding planning took many different turns and travels. From planning national events for clients like Jamba Juice and Manduka Yoga to eventually playing with all things tulle and lace as a Bridal Director at some of the top luxury bridal brands, all these experiences and more helped me discover who I wanted to be in this crazy beautiful industry. XO Kate Events became my signature—a true way for me to sign my name + aesthetic to every event I plan and design.
A wedding day is the start of a new adventure. A wedding day means you get to spend the rest of your life with the person who makes you the very best YOU. Planning and designing this day is personal, so let’s keep it that way. Love is a concept that we associate with hope and understanding. It is the common thread that all humans crave and strive for, it unifies and acts as a home base when we stray off a designated path. XO Kate Events was created to be an all inclusive business that ultimately offers a safe platform to uplift the love stories of my clients.
XO Kate Events also stands in the belief that we are learning and unlearning every day. I am committed to not hide from sharing current events whether they be political, civil rights motivated, or calling on the leaders of our industry to join the conversation and use their platforms for good + change. We loved working with her, we had an intimate wedding with 50 guests, and she ensured every detail was perfect. She had amazing style when it came to the wedding design while also being super organized and proactive throughout the entire planning process. Adding to the craziness of wedding planning, our venue canceled on us 2 weeks before the wedding! Kate replanned the wedding in 2 weeks at an entirely new venue and it was better than it ever could have been! I don’t know what we would have done without her, we had to make so many changes and she was so calm and adaptable throughout the process, she was a total lifesaver and went above and beyond! The day was perfect, it was everything we wanted and went off without a hitch. We cannot say enough nice things about Kate, we would recommend her to anyone doing a wedding of any size!
